Soup Camp

What is Soup Camp?

Every month we get together with a crew of 15 English Language Learners to share culture, practice speaking and make a GIANT pot of soup.

Our third and final Soup Camp is on Thursday, April 30 @ Bishop Harrison Center, 1342 Lancaster Ave, from 5-7pm.

Our third and final soup hails from Burma: Ohn no khao swè:

Coconut milk, turmeric, wheat noodles, besan (chickpea flour), mushroom stock, onion, garlic, ginger, fish sauce, salt & pepper*

We suggest you garnish this soup with: jammy egg, crispy noodles, raw onion, chili flakes, cilantro, lime (all included).

We'll make just 100 soups for sale.  When you pickup, dip downstairs to meet the chef and enjoy a cool cooking demo.  Buthaina‘s back with fresh baked cookies from Syria; bring a little cash if you’ve got a sweet tooth.

When you buy a soup, you give a soup. Big ♥️ to SCSD’s Refugee Assistance Program for helping distribute soup direct to families.
